The GC-HHDA conducted its annual goal setting meeting on January 20 2013 at 624 W. 6th St. The group determined goals that would improve the infrastructure of the District, as fixing retaining walls, improving brick sidewalks, removing weed trees, improving the Brown St. and Scott St. hills. Goals dealing with housing were also addressed to update the historical survey of the District, further down zone the area, address negligent properties, encourage residents to apply for local landmarking. Included also are goals to promote within and outside the neighborhood, better identify boundaries, update the walking tour brochure, host a High Tea and find further revenue sources. Members are encouraged to volunteer for projects of interest to them.
