“Calling the Gold Coast Home” Open House held on a beautiful September 23, 2012 day was a hugh success. The event featured eight “for sale” homes in the Gold Coast district in a 4 hour open house by realtors and homeowners. The GC-HHDA also set up an information center for guests to learn more about the homes, mortgages, special home programs, and even a chance to relax with lemonade and cookies. The purpose of the event was to draw attention to homes for sale in the neighborhood as well as promoting the Gold Coast – Hamburg Historic District. The Open House was free, sponsored by the GC-HHDA, and attended by approximately 400 guests.
